Expected Pace of Play - Rapid play is fundamental to golf at The Beverly Country Club. In order to advance this approach, the following standards of playing pace have been established: 9 holes - 2 hours/18 holes - 4 hours, 15 minutes
  • The Two-Minute Search - A ball should be declared lost after two minutes.
  • The Open-Hole Rule - Please keep pace with the group ahead of your match. If there is an open hole in front of you, please ask a faster match behind you to play through.
  • Play “Ready Golf” - Always be ready to play your next shot, even when closer to the hole than other players.
  • Assist Your Caddie - Advance the cause of fast play by anticipating situations such as carrying an extra club to your ball.
